(Leavenworth, Kan.) – The University of Saint Mary has hired Ethan Paladino as the head esports coach. Paladino comes to USM from the University of Missouri, where he served as an esports lead.

“We are glad to have someone like Ethan leading our esports teams,” Vice President for Athletics Rob Miller said. “We could not ask for a better candidate to help jump-start the program here at USM.”

Paladino holds a Bachelor’s in Broadcast Journalism and spent three years on the Mizzou esports team.

“I’m looking forward to building upon the Spire Esports program and working with each player to accomplish each teams’ goals,” Paladino said. “My biggest goal is to make sure I am able to provide students with as many opportunities as possible, and I’m excited to do that with the University of Saint Mary.”
