7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, Xavier Theatre
(Leavenworth, Kan.)—The University of Saint Mary Community Band will offer their annual
                        Christmas Concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5 in Xavier Theatre on the University of
                        Saint Mary Main Campus in Leavenworth, 4100 S. 4th St.
                     
                     
The concert is free and the public is cordially invited. 
                     
                     
The program will open with the Overture to the film "Miracle on 34th Street" and will
                        also feature arrangements from Mannheim Steamroller as well as settings of The Coventry
                        Carol and Pat-A-Pan.
                     
                     
The featured soloist for the evening is vocalist Rob Gaslin of Lansing, Kan., who
                        will sing the seasonal favorite "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas."  Zach Warren,
                        senior percussionist from Leavenworth, will be honored as a December graduate.
