David S. Silverman

 

David S. Silverman is an experienced educator, author, editor, and technical writer. He completed his B.A. in English at Florida State University, an M.A. in English Studies at Illinois State University, and then a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Missouri. His first book, “You Can’t Air That”: Four Cases of Censorship and Controversy in American Television Programming, was an Editor’s Pick in "Choice" magazine. His second book, "Animated Mischief," which he co-edited with Brian Duchaney, was released in the fall of 2023 from McFarland Publishing.
