As Commencement approaches, there are plenty of important dates and events for you to remember.
Nurses Pinning Ceremony
7 p.m., Friday, May 10, in Annunciation Chapel. Nursing grads are presented with the official USM pin, a symbol of achievement in the field. The pinning ceremony is an historic ritual that dates all the way back to Florence Nightengale. All nursing graduates are expected to attend. Families and friends are welcome as well.
The Commencement Ceremony is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, May 11 in McGilley Field House.
Baccalaureate Mass is at 10 a.m. the morning of Commencement, Saturday, May 11 inside Annunciation Chapel. Graduates and families of all faiths are invited to attend.
The University of Saint Mary offers a special Commencement-day brunch at 11 a.m. inside Saint Joseph Dining Hall.
Graduation regalia (cap and gown) is required for Commencement, Senior Hooding and Honors Ceremony, and Baccalaureate Mass. Regalia is not required for rehearsals. Order your regalia now.
