Rick Gunter is currently the Director of Graduate and Undergraduate Business Programs at the Overland Park Campus of the University of Saint Mary (USM). Prior to his current position with USM, Rick spent 30 years in Information Technology working in or with a wide variety of industries including government, manufacturing, telecommunications, banking, and data security. Rick worked for Electronic Data Systems (EDS) for over 16 years as a programmer/analyst, an instructor, a project manager, and the manager of several large software development teams. In the Kansas City area, Rick has worked for Sprint, Commerce Bank, Fishnet Security, and Garmin.

Rick has over 10 years of experience teaching classes in project management, leadership, and organizational behavior at both the graduate and undergraduate level. This includes five years as an Adjunct Professor with USM.

Rick was born and raised in Clarkston, Michigan. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Master of Business Administration from Mid-America Nazarene University. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at Saint Leo University. Rick is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He is an Eagle Scout. In his spare time, Rick enjoys camping and backpacking, watching sports, and is attempting to play more golf.

Dr. Mark Harvey has over twenty years of experience in teaching and educational administration, working at campuses in the U.S. and the U.K., including the University of Wales, the University of Birmingham, London School of Economics, Duke University, the University of Kansas, Baker University, and others.  He has hosted, taught, and led students on various international exchange programs in the UK and Belgium.  Dr. Harvey teaches courses in global management, international political economy, and leadership.

He has also been a small business owner and professional consultant, specializing in international business and technical marketing.  He has worked with Charles, Charles and Associates, Printing Industries of America, Marketing Resources of America, Hoechst Celanese, Honeywell, MyJoeCard.com, Political Studies Association (PSA), C-SAP (Centre for Learning and Teaching), the Center for International Political Analysis, the U.S. Department of Defense, and others.  His consulting work included studies in education in the U.K., political marketing in Ireland, conflict forecasting and management, corporate social responsibility and the environment, and competitive benchmarking. 

He is author of the forthcoming book, Celebrity Power:  Politics and Persuasion in the Spotlight (University Press of Kansas), and has published articles on human rights, economic development, democratization, international media markets, and innovation diffusion in the music industry.
