The University of Saint Mary Music Program is performance-based and directed by professors who are professional musicians dedicated to teaching.
Former USM music students have worked as professional performers in choral music, recital, opera and music theater, jazz, as well as in musical leadership positions in church music, higher education and community arts organizations.
In addition to preparation for performance careers, music graduates have marketable analytical skills with which to compete for computer-based positions in business & industry and are prepared to enter the workforce in the fields of:
