Carolyn Singleton | Painting and Printmaking
, C’08, has explored a variety of media since graduating from Saint Mary with a BA in Studio Art, with a Concentration in Painting. She will be exhibiting a series of visually striking black and white photos of Chichen Itza in Mexico.
Sr. Pam Hinkle
, C'70, is also a Saint Mary alum. In addition, she is the Sisters of Charity Artist-in-Residence. Much of her ceramic work is focused on encouraging and supporting a contemplative life.
Mary Ellen Maxwell
is a recipient of USM’s Honorary Doctorate for her role as co-founder of the Carnegie Arts Center, which was a resource for the arts in Leavenworth for 25 years. Her unique process combines a variety of media such as collaged papers, wood pieces, found objects, colored pencils, paint, etc. The imagery in her works suggests the mysteries of the cosmos.
, former director of the Carnegie Arts Center, will be exhibiting works inspired by the natural world. In her work expressive lines mix with layered and patterned color to create invigorating images full of joy.
